Protein-rich Roti


  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup whey protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, whey protein powder, and salt.
  2. Add the water and olive oil, and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
  5. Roll out each ball into a thin round roti.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Place the roti onto the pan and cook until bubbles start to form on the surface.
  8. Flip the roti over and cook until both sides are lightly browned.
  9. Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
